Marcus J. Molinaro has devoted more than three decades to public service at every level of American government. From becoming the nation’s youngest elected mayor at age nineteen to serving in Congress and leading the Federal Transit Administration, Mr. Molinaro has demonstrated that government exists to preserve liberty, strengthen communities, and earn the public’s trust through principled leadership. Throughout his career, Mr. Molinaro has built a reputation for bipartisan problem-solving, constitutional stewardship, fiscal responsibility, and public accountability.
He has led organizations responsible for billions of dollars in public investment, modernizing public infrastructure while preserving the historic and civic character of the communities he served.As Dutchess County Executive, he led eight consecutive property tax reductions while expanding services for veterans, seniors, families, and individuals with disabilities. He championed farmland preservation, historic community revitalization, open-space transportation, and economic development. As a Member of Congress, he served on the House Transportation & Infrastructure and Agriculture Committees and was consistently recognized among the nation’s most bipartisan legislators.
His legislative work focused on infrastructure, accessibility, and accountability.He was also recognized as one of the most effective members of the House and Senate.As Administrator of the Federal Transit Administration, Mr. Molinaro oversaw national transit policy, safety, and federal infrastructure investment while advancing transparency, innovation, accessibility, and stewardship of public resources
