Dear Senator:
I am writing to express my support for H.R. 2306, the “Adams Memorial—Great American Heroes Act,” and urge your support for the bill, as well.
This legislation will extend the authorization to build a memorial to the Adams Family: Presidents John and John Quincy Adams, First Ladies Abigail and Louisa Catherine, and subsequent generations who made significant impacts on American history and the American character.
The legislation also identifies President’s Park, just south of the White House, as an especially fitting location for the memorial, since John Adams was the first president to occupy the White House.
Finally, H.R. 2306 extends the authorization for the Adams Memorial Commission, which is tasked with planning, designing, and constructing the memorial.
H.R.2306 passed the House on December 9, 2025, with full bipartisan support and awaits action in the Senate. As you consider this legislation, I ask that you please give the “Adams Memorial—Great American Heroes Act” your full support.
