The Adams Public Service Award for High School Seniors Launched

The Adams Memorial Foundation is proud to announce the launch of its Adams Public Service Award, honoring the enduring legacy of John Adams and his remarkable family. This new scholarship program recognizes graduating high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional civic responsibility, community leadership, and service.



The Adams Public Service Award for High School Seniors


Inspired by the integrity and selfless public service of the Adams family, from John and Abigail Adams to John Quincy, Louisa Catherine, and Charles Francis Adams, the scholarship aims to uplift the next generation of civic-minded leaders.


Two scholarship prizes will be awarded:

  • First Prize – $1,000

  • Second Prize – $500


Eligible applicants must be current high school seniors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, planning to attend an accredited college or university. In addition to academic transcripts and a resume highlighting leadership and service, applicants must submit a personal essay and a public social media post promoting civic responsibility and honoring the Adams family legacy.


Deadline to apply is May 16, 2025 at 11:59 PM (local time).


Winners will be announced by June 2, 2025.
